Breaking up in Hard
Times - What are your Options? Workshop in
London
Dates to be arranged at the Institute of Family
Therapy, London
NW1
Three hour relationship breakup and divorce
workshop
with Breakup Angels
co-founder Kirsten
Gronning; family mediator Lorraine
Schaffer; family lawyer Deborah Levy and financial consultant
Ray
Rastall.

In 2007 and 2008 Breakup
Angels co-founder Kirsten Gronning ran five successful
workshops in London called The One-Stop Divorce Workshop where
she brought together divorce experts to advise on options
and best solutions to enable delegates to find answers
through their relationship
breakdown.
BreakupAngels is re-launching these
workshops in 2010 with other breakup
organisations and experts including the Institute of Family
Therapy (IFT), divorce lawyers and financial experts. The
Breaking up in Hard Times
- What are your Options? Workshops provide a
safe place to find out about a range of issues, from tips to
uncover whether a relationship is really over; how to achieve a
low cost settlement and moving on afterwards with a range of
emotional, legal and financial issues in
between.
By offering these workshops on a weekday evening at the IFT
with breakup experts giving up their own time, we can offer
short workshops at sensible prices. It needs only 3 hours
of your time to meet the people who can answer some of your
most difficult to answer questions.
What do you learn?
The workshop enables women and men to make informed choices
about their personal situation through separation and divorce.
We cover a range of topics depending on the needs of the
delegates eg. legal and financial options; advantages of
resolution over litigation; looking after yourself; looking
after children; tips and techniques to obtain the best possible
split; a simple action plan to help you
progress.

Feedback
from delegates at the previous workshops:
The atmosphere was relaxed and supportive, it was good to meet
the professionals and learn there is support out there. Much
better than trawling the internet! I would highly recommend
this course.
Faye
preparing to divorce at the February ‘How to Successfully
Split' workshop.
I found the How to successfully split workshop extremely
helpful, great to meet the people you email & speak to on
the telephone and of immeasurable help. This is definitely the
way forward and can only get
better.
Paul
attended
the October ‘How to Successfully Split’
workshop.
You don’t know what divorce is like until you’re actually
there, and then it’s like a fairground with ups and downs,
swings and roundabouts. These workshops help slow the
fairground down.
Sandra, going through a litigious divorce at the
March
'One-Stop Divorce workshop.'
Good balance between informality and professionalism.
Sufficient time for questions from participants. Very
worthwhile investment of time and money.
Invaluable.
Trish attended the October ‘How to successfully Split’
workshop.
I
thought the course was well-thought out and the experts were
kind, helpful and engaging. It was great to have a bank of
experts beside us.
Eve, separated for some
time

Finances’ workshop.
Would happily recommend to anyone going through divorce. I
really enjoyed it, thanks.
Rupert,

process

-
I now see a way forward & hope.”
